Based in South Bristol, we are well located to undertake
work anywhere in the Midlands, Wales and Southern England.
We are able to work both in rural and urban areas. Our pilots
are also trained photographers which allows them to understand
the needs of our photographic teams in order to give optimal
results possible, in the quickest time. The Avonair photographic
team can use either digital or wet film up to large format
to suit your needs.
The Robinson 44 is a versatile platform for photographic
work as the front and back doors can be removed independently
allowing ample room for filming or still work. We are also
accustomed to working with 'doors-off' which enables a more
accurate platform to achieve your requests. Intercommunication
between the pilot, camera operator and other passengers is
provided by a sophisticated noise-cancelling head-set system
which allows precise instructions to be passed between the
pilot and the camera crew. The camera operator's head-set
has an independent system incorporated to avoid wind interference.
In addition we can arrange the fitting of camera mounts if
required. Costs vary with type, so please contact us with
your specific requirements.
We recommend that depending on your needs, we begin with a
local orientation of the area you wish to photograph. We operate
on a one hour’s minimum hire period; after the first
hour the remainder of the flight is charged pro-rata.
Avonair’s main goals are safety, flexibility, comfort
and style. We take every care to ensure that your needs are
fully understood and met. |
